About The Role

Help us tackle the growing wildfire crisis with the latest advancements in AI and IoTWho we areThe challenge: Every minute matters in wildfire response. As climate change increases the frequency and intensity of wildfires—with longer fire seasons, drier fuels, and more extreme weather—new ignitions can spread rapidly, putting communities, critical infrastructure, and ecosystems at risk. Today, many wildfires are first reported by members of the public, meaning it can take valuable time to detect a fire, confirm its location and size, and mobilize responders. Fire agencies need faster, more reliable ways to detect, verify, and pinpoint new ignitions so they can respond quickly and prevent small fires from becoming catastrophic events.About Pano AI: Pano AI is the leader in AI-powered wildfire detection and intelligence, helping fire professionals detect, respond to, and contain wildfires faster and more safely. This is a hands-on warehouse role first: you will spend a significant part of your week on the floor receiving shipments, picking and packing orders, staging and kitting equipment, and getting product out the door accurately and on time. There is a real systems and analysis side to the job — you will build the tracking, records, and processes this function runs on — but it sits on top of the physical work, not instead of it.The mix shifts week to week. During a site launch or a heavy inbound week, you may be on the floor most of the time. In quieter stretches, you will be tightening up records, improving storage layout, chasing down carrier issues, and building the systems that make the next busy week smoother. We are looking for someone who is genuinely comfortable with both, and who does not consider either one beneath them or beyond <them. As> Pano scales its warehouse network and brings on additional sites and partners, the volume and complexity of this work is growing fast. This role gives Plant Operations the dedicated capacity it needs to keep receiving and shipping accurate, transportation and storage running efficiently, and every product arriving at the right destination on schedule.Fair warning on one point: our systems and processes here are still being built. There is no mature WMS to inherit. Much of the tracking lives in spreadsheets and carrier portals today, and part of your job will be turning that into something durable. If you want a well-oiled machine to run, this is not it. If you want to build the machine while keeping shipments moving, read on!What you’ll doOn the floorReceive inbound shipments — unload, verify against packing lists, inspect for damage, and put awayPick, pack, label, and ship outbound orders accurately and on scheduleStage and kit equipment for deployment, including unboxing, assembly, and prep before it shipsOperate a pallet jack and forklift to move and stage material safelyPerform cycle counts and physical inventory checks, and reconcile discrepanciesHandle returns, RMAs, and inbound repair unitsKeep the warehouse organized, safe, and navigable as volume growsCoordination and problem-solvingTrack shipments and proactively identify and resolve delays, discrepancies, and bottlenecksCoordinate with carriers, vendor partners, and internal teams to keep goods movingCommunicate clearly and consistently with Plant Operations stakeholders on shipment status and issuesRoute escalations quickly and follow through until they are actually resolvedBuilding the systemsBuild and maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and deliveries — today largely in spreadsheetsDevelop and document repeatable receiving, storage, and shipping processes as we add sites and partnersImprove storage layout, transportation routes, and shipping workflows for greater efficiencyPartner with Plant Operations leadership to flag process and systems gaps, and help stand up better tooling as the network scalesWhat you’ll bringExperience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations, including hands-on receiving, picking, packing, and shippingComfort operating a pallet jack and forklift (certification a plus; we can certify if needed)Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail — accuracy in this role has downstream consequencesSolid spreadsheet skills, and the instinct to write something down in a way others can use laterExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindsetAbility to manage multiple shipments, priorities, and deadlines at onceComfort working cross-functionally with carriers, vendors, and internal teamsAbility to stay calm and adaptable when issues arise, and troubleshoot quickly under time pressureAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where processes are still being builtExperience with a WMS, ERP, or inventory management system — or experience helping implement oneExperience supporting hardware deployments, kitting, or field equipment logisticsExperience at a company scaling its warehouse or distribution footprintFinal compensation for regular full-time employees is determined by a variety of factors, including job-related qualifications, education, experience, skills, knowledge, and geographic location.
