About this Role:As a Manufacturing Manager at BRINC, you will lead our manufacturing team in producing life-saving public safety technology. You will oversee daily production operations, manage resource allocation, and ensure efficient workflow across multiple production lines. Working within our dynamic manufacturing environment, you will coordinate cross-functional activities, optimize production processes, and maintain quality standards while developing and mentoring a team of skilled Production Technicians. This role begins on second shift (~3:00 PM–11:30 PM), with an anticipated transition to day shift within 4–6 months; shift assignment is subject to change based on business needs. This position offers the opportunity to directly shape BRINC's manufacturing excellence while contributing to our mission of supporting first responders through advanced technology solutions.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Operations Management:Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities of the manufacturing team (10+ technicians)Develop and mentor Production Technicians to ensure skill growth and team success, including recruiting/hiring, training, and performance managementPrioritize and allocate work effectively to meet production deadlinesImplement and maintain production standards and quality control measuresManage and optimize production floor layout and workflowSupply Chain & Resource Management:Monitor supply chain activities and inventory levels to prevent production disruptionsCollaborate with Supply Chain team to maintain optimal stock levelsParticipate in production planning and resource allocation decisionsCross-Functional Leadership:Act as primary liaison between Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Inventory teamsEscalate technical issues promptly and drive resolution through appropriate channelsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizationParticipate in strategic planning for production capacity and capability expansionTechnical Oversight:Lead by example by maintaining hands-on capability with production processes and assembly techniquesEnsure proper maintenance and calibration of production equipmentGuide team in complex troubleshooting scenariosReview and approve production documentation and process changesQualifications:5+ years of experience in manufacturing, with 3+ years in leadership rolesProven experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software systemsStrong project management skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skillsAdvanced understanding of manufacturing processes and quality controlStrong leadership and communication skills with ability to build and mentor teamsExperience in implementing and maintaining lean manufacturing principlesAbility to analyze production metrics and implement improvementsPreferred Skills:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or related engineering/technical field; or extensive relevant experience.Experience in drone manufacturing, aerospace, or adjacent industriesSix Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher)Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systemsKnowledge of advanced drone systems and electronics manufacturingExperience in implementing or optimizing ERP/MES systemsBackground in regulatory compliance for aerospace or defense manufacturingExperience with automated production systemsBRINC Culture Values:Try the hard stuffBe innovative - Invent the futureMove fastListen to end-usersStrive for excellenceDon’t build a dystopiaBe frugalSave lives through technologyIf you’re interested in this role and in joining BRINC, we hope you’ll apply.
