About The Role
<Change.org> is searching for Elections Organizers for <Change.vote>, shaping experiences for voters and elected officials that increase clarity, trust, and participation in democracy. This role will involve managing recruitment, negotiation, and onboarding of both distribution and endorsing partners for <Change.vote> within their target market, including working with campus interns for distribution. You will report to our Partnerships Lead, Emily Jakobsen. As a key member of our Elections team, you’ll drive traffic to <Change.vote> through partnerships and campus interns, and recruit endorsers to submit their candidates of choice within the <Change.vote> <ecosystem.Change.org> is the world’s largest platform for <democracy.At> a time when dissatisfaction with democracy globally is at an all-time high, we’re investing heavily in using AI to build an operating system for modern democracy. This includes our platform for giving people greater voice, a personalized voter guide for elections, and a new product which aims to bring people across the political spectrum together to identify shared solutions..Change.org is also building the most trusted, accessible, and transparent election information platform in the United States, <Change.vote>. In our 2025 pilot, thousands of voters used the app to explore their ballots, with high engagement, strong satisfaction, and a meaningful increase in voter confidence. Our goal for 2026 is bold: scale <Change.vote> to millions of voters <nationwide.Change.org> is building the most trusted, accessible, and transparent election information platform in the United States, <Change.vote>. Our goal for 2026 is bold: scale <Change.vote> to millions of voters <nationwide.To> realize this vision, we’re expanding the most talented team in the world at the intersection of technology and social impact - all focused every day on building healthier democracies globally.Key Outcomes:Identify and build relationships with civic, advocacy, and community organizations across target markets, mostly citiesBuild and manage distribution partnerships with civic organizations, nonprofits, and other non-partisan entities (e.g., corporations) across the stateMap the local nonprofit landscape in each target market and prioritize organizations with existing voter engagement infrastructureProvide orgs with simple, ready-to-use distribution assets — flyers, social copy, email blurbs, QR codes — so adoption requires minimal lift on their endCoordinate distribution moments tied to their existing calendar: community events, service days, open enrollment periods, back-to-school nights, <etc.Help> recruit and fully manage campus representatives within your assigned markets with specific outreach goalsRecruit organizations to contribute their endorsements and commentary to Change.voteNavigate each organization's approval process — often multiple stakeholders, sometimes state or national sign-offGet endorsement data into <change.vote> in whatever format the organization already uses (spreadsheet, PDF, or otherwise)Track outreach results and pipeline status in a specific CRMProvide feedback to the <Change.vote> Marketing Team about learnings throughout the cycleThe most important core competencies for the role are:An existing network of civic or advocacy contacts; ideally local/field-level, not just statewide leadershipComfortable initiating cold outreach and closing relationships independently; Outreach volume will determine success in this roleExperience managing volunteers or internsCan work independently and adapt tactics without needing a rigid scriptAI experience needed: fluent and increasingly strategicNice to have: bilingual (English and Spanish) Target experience:At least two cycles of campaign or advocacy work, specifically in organizing, field, political, comms, or marketing (digital or otherwise)Interested? The hourly rate of pay is $43.89/hr.Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our rates are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined pay scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labor for that location.
