HSE SUPERVISOR Job

Mission Details ACTVITIES Conduct and support HSE risk assessments (ORA, ERA, JSA, PHA, HAZOP, PSSR). Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW) activities and ensure compliance with safety procedures. Promote HSE awareness and support site safety programs and initiatives. Maintain PPE management, monitor safety findings, and follow up on corrective actions. Support occupational health programs, medical surveillance, CHRA, and industrial hygiene activities. Assist in waste management, environmental compliance, and reporting. Coordinate HSE training, competency verification, and compliance activities. Support emergency preparedness, drills, and emergency equipment inspections. Report and investigate HSE incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions. Conduct HSE audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring. Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks for employees and contractors. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and Arkema HSEQ standards. Required Profile QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED • Diploma in OSH, Environmental Science, or equivalent with at least certificate in OSH-C and registered with DOSH • At least 2 years of hands-on experience in the HSE field, ideally within a manufacturing or plant operations environment • Practical knowledge of risk assessment tools (HIRARC, JSA), basic incident investigation, and the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system. • Familiarity with chemical handling, scheduled waste management, and hazardous material safety protocols. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate safety requirements effectively to both shopfloor workers and site management. • Competent in conducting daily Toolbox Talks (TBT), basic HSE awareness training, and routine site inspections/audits. • Good interpersonal communication skill. • Basic knowledge or exposure to Process Safety will be considered a significant advantage. • Able to communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia. Basic command of English (written and spoken) is sufficient, with a willingness to learn and improve.
