About The Role

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations of a centralized warehouse that supports multiple departments including Service, Maintenance & Installation. This role ensures efficient inventory flow, accurate forecasting, and consistent service levels across all locations. The Warehouse Supervisor owns both execution and strategy—overseeing warehouse operations while optimizing inventory allocation, demand planning, and distribution to support business growth and operational excellence.What You’ll DoWarehouse OperationsOversee receiving, inspection, and documentation of all inbound inventoryEnsure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety complianceManage delivery coordinationMaintain warehouse equipment and vehiclesInventory Management & DistributionManage inventory in this marketAllocate and distribute inventory based on demand trendsCoordinate inter-branch transfers to maintain service levelsPrevent stockouts and excess inventory through proactive managementMonitor vehicle inventory replenishments to ensure accuracy and compliance with operational standardsForecasting & PlanningAnalyze usage trends, seasonality, and growth patternsMaintain target stock levels (~2 months of forward demand)Identify and report the need to adjust safety stock, reorder points, inventory templates and purchasing based on demand shiftsTrack and optimize key inventory metrics (AWU, AMU, LTD, ROP, TTC)Inventory Control & AccuracyLead cycle counts, audits, and scheduled physical inventoriesInvestigate and resolve discrepanciesEnsure accurate tracking of inventory movementCross-Functional CoordinationPartner with supply chain, operations, and branch leadershipSupport ordering, scheduling, and special order distributionCommunicate inventory strategy and performance across teamsLeadership & Continuous ImprovementIdentify and implement process improvementsPartner with the Area Manager to support daily operations, execute Supply Chain initiatives, and drive continuous operational improvementsDrive efficiency, accuracy, and service-level performanceWhat You’ll BringExperience & Knowledge5+ years in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments2+ years in a leadership role managing teamsStrong understanding of inventory management (FIFO, cycle counts, replenishment)Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skillsAbility to forecast demand and manage inventory strategicallyExcellent communication across teams and leadership levelsHighly organized with strong problem-solving capabilitiesProficiency in systems like ServiceTitan and Microsoft Office & ExcelOther RequirementsValid driver’s license with clean recordForklift certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days)Ability to work in an active warehouse environment and lift 25–50 lbsKey Attributes for SuccessOwnership mentality – takes full accountability for inventory performance across all marketsOperational leadership – leads from the floor while maintaining strategic oversightAnalytical mindset – uses data to drive decisions, not instinct aloneAdaptability – thrives in a fast-paced, multi-location environmentContinuous improvement focus – constantly looks for ways to optimize processesStrong communicator – aligns teams and leadership around clear inventory strategies#INDA1Benefits and other cool stuff:· Medical, dental, vision, 401K· Paid Time Off· Weekly Pay· Internal Promotion opportunities· Company swag(Please note: benefits are not available for part time, temporary or contract roles) A1 Garage Door (and affiliate companies) provide equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.
