Watch Care Provider

Location

Fort Carson, CO – Religious Support Office (RSO) Facilities

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct childcare for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-age children during religious services and events (up to 4 hours weekly plus 8 special events annually).

Maintain

• line-of-sight supervision
• of children at all times.

Follow

Army Regulation (AR) 608-10

child-to-adult ratios and facility capacity requirements.

Ensure

• proper hygiene
• , including handwashing, diapering, clothing changes, and safe feeding practices.

Administer

• basic first aid
• for minor injuries and promptly notify guardians or supervisors of incidents.
• Reset and sanitize Watch Care rooms after each session, including cleaning toys, equipment, and surfaces.

Qualifications

Minimum of

• 18 years of age
• .
• Prior experience working with children in childcare, education, or community settings preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with children, parents, and RSO staff.
• Commitment to professionalism, safety, and confidentiality.
