Minimum Qualifications

Completion of

• minimum two (2) years of undergraduate formal training
• as a Piano Performance major (verified by transcript).

Minimum

• two (2) years of experience
• performing piano in worship or religious settings, including working with choirs and ensembles.

Ability to

• sight-read hymns and four-part harmony
• from the Armed Forces Hymnal or chapel hymnal.
• Must speak and communicate effectively in

English

• , both orally and in writing.
• Must pass an
• interview and audition
• with the Senior Chaplain and receive approval from the Chaplaincy Resource Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Provide piano accompaniment for the

0900 AM Sunday Catholic Mass

, including prelude, offertory, hymns, postlude, choir pieces, and soloist support.

Perform

• 1 hour of rehearsal before each Mass
• , totaling approximately
• 2 hours per Sunday

• Provide musical accompaniment for
• 52 regular weekly services
• per year.

Support

• Choir/Praise Team rehearsals
• (up to 52 rehearsals annually) as scheduled by the choir director.
• Provide piano accompaniment for

Special/Seasonal Services

• such as memorials, funerals, or Holy Day observances (up to 10 services annually).
• Conduct rehearsals for Special Services (up to 10 per year).
