Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (as scheduled)
Tasks
Teach
- Spanish language classes in person
- Help students improve
- speaking, listening, reading, and writing
Teach
beginner, intermediate, and advanced students
Prepare
simple lesson plans
Use
- books or learning materials
- during class
Track
student attendance
Give
basic feedback on student progress
Conduct
- short assessments to determine student level
- Adjust lessons based on
- student learning needs
Follow
U.S. Consulate security rules
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native Spanish speaker
- Experience teaching
- Spanish to adults
- Good communication skills
- Ability to teach in person in
Monterrey
- Able to pass
- U.S. Consulate security screening
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in
- Spanish, education, or linguistics
- Experience teaching
- professionals or government staff
- Language teaching certification
