Responsibilities

Coordinate and lead CRP Protestant educational activities for pre-school and elementary school-age students

Weekday Meetings

• Organize and direct regular children’s study group meetings that focus on spiritual development while integrating mental, physical, and social development.

Sunday School

– Coordinate with chaplain/lay leader of Protestant faith groups to provide or facilitate weekly Bible study or religious activities for pre-school and elementary school-age children.

Special Events

• Conduct six (6) special events per year during holidays or special occasions to promote spiritual growth and discipleship, with an emphasis on community responsibility and faith sharing.

Discipleship

• Disciple elementary-age children in Christian Principles, to include spirituality, outreach, Christian growth, morals and values.

Vacation Bible School

• Coordinate with chaplain/lay leader of Protestant faith groups to organize and conduct a week-long program designed to spiritually engage pre-school and elementary-age children.

Implement promotional endeavors, maintain records of materials, order necessary items, and keep attendance of all activities in this program.

Qualifications

• An undergraduate degree.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as a leadership role within Protestant religious
• education or children’s ministry is required.
• Must be an active participant in local ministry and active in their faith.
• Speak, read, and write English Proficiently
• .
• Protestant faith leader recommendation letter from current or most recent place of ministry participation.
