Technician / Senior Technician (Operations)

Group Company: Gas & Related Services Designation: Thermal (Gas)_Operations Office Location: Myingyan, Mandalay, Myanmar Position description: Operations (12_17_009_004) Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for day to day field operation of Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Heat Recovery Steam Generator, Balance of Plant, Water treatment, Demin Water Plant, and Waste Water Treatment Plant. Coordinate with the Boardman and Shift Charge Engineer with regards to all related activities in the shift. Conduct the field daily and routine operational task including HRSG sampling. Perform condition monitoring during the shift to ensure that all equipment parameters are normal and within limits of performance and enter periodic readings in log sheets. Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer and Boardman for implementation of equipment isolation and normalization in accordance to PTW and LOTO System. Coordinate with Shift Charge Engineer and Boardman for implementation of equipment isolation and normalization in accordance to PTW and LOTO System. Maintain record of operational activities and operational consumables. Raise maintenance request in SAP system for equipment malfunction. Participate in safety teams (fire warden, first aid, emergency response). Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned. Years of experience: 3 to 5 Key Performance Indicators: Required Competencies: Required Knowledge: Knowledge with SAP system is an advantage Understanding of Permit to Work and Lock-out/Tag-out System is an advantage. Understanding of Boiler water chemistry is an advantage. Required Skills: Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and P&ID's is an advantage. Able to speak and read simple English. Computer knowledge with MS Office expertise. Team player with strong communication / interpersonal skills.
