Cloud Engineer (AWS RDS)

Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain highly available relational databases, specifically AWS RDS (MySQL) . Secure databases with best practices for encryption, access control, and patching. Implement cost-optimization strategies, such as rightsizing and storage management. Provide technical guidance and support across our internal team. Collaborate with cross-functional business unit teams to ensure the process aligns with organization standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in relevant field. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in relational databases such as MySQL, AWS RDS etc. Strong expertise in SQL, troubleshooting & optimization. Knowledge of cloud networking (VPC, Subnets, Security Group, etc). Knowledge of cloud monitoring, backup/snapshot management and automated recovery strategies is a must. AWS certifications is a plus. Experience in P2V & EC2 to RDS migration is a plus. Ability to speak & converse in both English & Chinese.
