About the Role As a Funds Settlement Executive (Virtual Assets) , you will be part of the Finance team responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations across core business lines, including virtual currency wallets, card services, and wealth management products. You will play a key role in managing complex fund flows, performing multi-system reconciliations, and supporting financial closing processes. This role also involves close collaboration with Product, Technology, and Risk teams to drive process improvements and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations across multiple systems, including wallet systems, card platforms, bank accounts, third-party payment providers, and exchanges Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, including abnormal transactions such as delays, chargebacks, and exchange differences Prepare and post journal entries (JE) for: wallet transactions (fiat/virtual asset deposits, withdrawals, swaps, gas fees); card transactions (authorization, clearing, settlement, refunds, disputes); wealth management activities (subscriptions, redemptions, yield distribution, NAV validation) Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate multi-currency accounting and exchange gain/loss recognition Track and analyse key financial metrics such as transaction volumes, fund utilisation, and user-level profitability Prepare financial reports and analysis to support business and management decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Tech, Product, Risk) to enhance financial systems and workflows Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to improve reconciliation efficiency and reporting accuracy Perform additional related assignments or projects as directed by superiors What We’re Looking For: Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or related fields Experience: 1–3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit; experience in FinTech, payments, banking, virtual assets, or Big 4 is an advantage Technical Skills: Strong understanding of general ledger and accounting principles Experience handling multi-currency transactions (virtual assets and fiat preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables) Familiarity with reconciliation tools or financial systems Communication: Good communication skills in English; Mandarin is an added advantage due to business needs Attributes: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Demonstrates the ability and mindset to leverage AI tools to improve work efficiency, productivity, and quality, while continuously exploring new ways to enhance business impact.
