Materials Planning Specialist

About this Position Responsible for managing the material planning process for assigned suppliers and products, ensuring timely availability of raw and packaging materials to support production while maintaining optimal inventory levels. What you´ll do Execute MRP activities, create purchase requisitions, and resolve planning alerts. Ensure material availability to support production schedules and inventory targets. Monitor inventory levels and take action on excess, shortage, or obsolete materials. Collaborate with suppliers on forecasts, delivery schedules, and supply risks. Escalate supply issues and communicate material constraints to Production Planners. Support product launches, phase-ins/phase-outs, and strategic sourcing initiatives. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align supply chain priorities. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in planning processes. Utilize APS and other planning systems to improve efficiency and performance. Ensure compliance with Henkel Corporate Standards, SHE, and sustainability requirements.
