Manager - Production

About this Position The Manager – Production position is responsible for leading and managing all manufacturing operations at the plant to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while meeting quality standards, customer requirements, and business objectives. The role focuses on maximizing productivity through effective utilization of manpower, equipment, raw materials, and utilities. What you´ll do Lead daily production operations and ensure achievement of production plans and customer delivery commitments. Manage manpower, equipment, utilities, and raw materials to maximize productivity and efficiency. Monitor production performance and take corrective actions to achieve production targets. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements. Drive a strong safety culture and lead EHS initiatives, audits, and risk assessments. Maintain compliance with ISO, GMP, and other manufacturing standards. Improve productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, waste, and downtime. Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, and resource utilization. Lead, coach, and develop production teams, supervisors, and operators. Coordinate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to maximize equipment reliability and uptime. Support preventive maintenance, shutdown activities, and new equipment commissioning. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, TPM, 5S, and Kaizen initiatives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as production output, productivity, quality, safety, and manufacturing costs. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, EHS, and R D teams to ensure smooth plant operations. Prepare operational reviews and improvement action plans for plant leadership.
