About The Role

About this Position HPS(Henkel Production System) site leader is a person at Coach Level (HPS University), an experienced ambassador of the Continuous improvement culture behaviors and an expert of the implementation of the OEE(Overall Equipment Effectiveness) glidepath. He/she has the skills to coach others in the continuous improvement journey, getting them to further develop HPS thinking. Drives HPS implementation in the site by providing clear direction, active visible support for the effort, and coaching/teaching. She/he is mastering the OEE with purpose glidepath and is ensuring the correct implementation of tools and behaviors according to the glidepath. She/he is the ultimate resource to provide coaching on OEE analysis and consequent development of improvement glidepath for the factory. Provides direction and input / feedback that have equal focus on results achievement and capability development in the site. Own both the results achievement and the cultural change. What you´ll do Identifies and defines site HPS strategy and leads site implementation. Manage and oversee the HPS program deployment. Support and coach local HPS practitioners on HPS deployment. Involves the relevant people and departments to ensure full ownership of the actions and results. Develops and manages the HPS capability development program. Validates and certifies accomplishment of the different capability levels. Coaches the use of HPS principles and tools, and the mindset and behaviors required to sustain the HPS program. Track the progress of the master plan and give appropriate advice and detect possible obstacles. Involve the site leadership team in the HPS ways of working. Organizes and effectively facilitates improvement workshops including the cell’s team. Trains the participants and trainers on the standards and uses them consistently. Develops a vision, how the area could look at the end of the workshop. Leads the team in the workshop, co-ordinates and follows up on implementation. Be active part of the site Gemba and MUDA walks. Check SIM(Short Interval Management)/AM(Autonomous Maintenance) boards and give appropriate advice and support each time. Promote stretch, speed and innovation, though deeper understanding of benchmark levels of performance, changing reward recognition system and personal behaviors, expecting step-change / revolutionary versus incremental improvement. Leads reapplication of good practices from other sites. Shares good practices. Short- Medium-Term Continuous Improvement planning initiative implementation through collaboration with other Plant functions (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, etc.) to define capacity constraints, value stream improvements and site gap analysis.
