Quality Specialist (QPC)

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing quality assurance programs and establishing standards to ensure the highest level of product quality. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming materials from vendors and outgoing products for shipping in line with the company's quality certification. Create, implement, and maintain quality objectives and ensure they align with the company's business goals and mission. Develop and maintain data collection systems that optimizes efficiency and data quality, analyzing this for process improvements. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations, reporting back results to the Quality Process Control (QPC) Manager. Coordinate the investigation of customer complaints regarding quality, utilizing root cause analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions where needed. Design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvements, testing, and inspection. Maintain the company’s quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods. Play an active role in the production phase, ensuring quality checkpoints are observed and documented, and perform final quality reviews before goods are shipped. Assist in maintaining certifications and identifying any areas where training/certifications are required to meet quality standards. Work cross-functionally with other teams and departments to ensure sufficiency of quality protocols and manage and resolve any emerging production process issues. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lead improvement initiatives related to quality control and assurance.
