Overview MRI Technologist – MRI in Potsdam, NY. This travel assignment starts 09/08/2026 and runs for weeks. The role offers a weekly pay range of $2,230 to $2,305 with no guaranteed hours and a 3x12-hour shift pattern. Work is in a hospital setting within Radiology/MRI, utilizing a Siemens Espree 1.5T large bore MRI and a BRACCO injector to support imaging. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,230-$2,305 per week - Guaranteed hours: 0 - Contract duration: Weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour days - Start date: 09/08/2026 - Setting: Hospital-based Radiology/MRI with Siemens Espree 1.5T large bore MRI Responsibilities - Perform MRI exams across brain, spine, MSK, abdomen, pelvis, breast, orbits, and face/neck using the Siemens Espree 1.5T large bore MRI. - Conduct vascular studies including MRA/MRV (head, neck, abdomen, thorax) and advanced sequences such as diffusion, cine, and gradient-echo. - Administer IV contrast, start peripheral IVs, monitor for adverse reactions, and follow contrast safety protocols. - Process images with MIP, MPR, and ADC mapping; optimize patient positioning and protocol selection for diagnostic quality. - Maintain patient safety, infection control, and PPE compliance; coordinate with radiologists and support staff; manage room turnover and equipment checks. - Document findings in EPIC; float to other MRI sites as needed; operate in a 1:1 patient ratio with an average daily volume around 15 exams.
