Overview Physical Therapist – General in Charlotte, North Carolina. This travel assignment starts 08/17/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,653 to $2,660 per week - Guaranteed hours: 40 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 8-hour shifts - Start date: 08/17/2026 - Work setting: inpatient acute care/rehabilitation environment - Travel - temporary assignment - Potential for extension based on needs and performance Responsibilities - Perform clinical assessments to identify patient needs and appropriateness for physical therapy. - Document, plan, implement, and periodically revise a Plan of Care (POC); prepare progress notes and related clinical documentation; review orders; coordinate with physicians as part of an interdisciplinary team. - Plan and provide treatment for neuromuscular, neurological, and orthopedic disorders based on medical referrals; instruct patients and families in transfer techniques and safe use of mobility aids and equipment; order or adapt rehabilitative equipment to meet home and patient needs. - Provide patient and family education regarding therapeutic procedures, tailored to age, condition, culture, and learning readiness. - Supervise and collaborate with other team members when applicable to deliver care aligned with patient goals. - Apply infection control best practices and universal precautions in all patient care activities. - Accept clinical assignments within education and competence, maintaining professional standards and safety. - Maintain diligent documentation and comply with regulatory and facility policies.
