Overview Registered Nurse – Oncology Infusion Glens Falls, NY, United States Start date: 08/27/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly pay: $2,522–$2,626 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 Shift: 5x8 days Travel - Temporary Assignment This is a hospital-based outpatient infusion center role focused on intravenous therapies for oncology patients. COVID vaccinations are encouraged but not required. A New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency license/registration is required upfront and must be uploaded with your traveler profile. EPIC experience is required for quick onboarding. Key Highlights - Weekly pay: $2,522–$2,626 per week - Contract duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 5x8 days - Start date: 08/27/2026 - Setting: Outpatient infusion services in a hospital-level environment - EPIC experience required; oncology infusion expertise preferred Responsibilities - Administer chemotherapy and IV therapies (antibiotics, antifungals, steroids, IVIG) per orders; monitor patient response and adverse reactions; manage infusion equipment and line care - Perform venous access procedures as needed, including peripheral IV insertion and care of central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports); maintain line patency and infection control - Manage transfusions and hydration therapies; monitor electrolyte balance and patient status during infusions - Provide patient and caregiver education on infusion therapy, medication administration, and signs of potential adverse events - Document care in the electronic health record (EPIC); participate in safety initiatives, de-escalation training, and adherence to institutional protocols Requirements - New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration required upfront (must be uploaded with profile) - Active New York RN license - 2+ years current outpatient oncology and infusion experience - Chemo Certification (ONS) and Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) required - Peripheral IV insertion, Port/Fistula/Catheter care experience - IV Certification; EPIC experience required - COVID-19 vaccination encouraged but not required - De-escalation training completed (Welle, CPI, or PMCS) prior to onboarding - 14-panel drug screen completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance - BSN preferred; additional certifications such as ACLS/BLS (AHA) preferred - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; reliable with on-site safety standards - RTO requests up to 5 days must be noted and verified at upload (no more than 5 days) Benefits and Support - Dedicated support throughout the assignment - 24/7 travel and recruiter support - Fast credentialing to minimize onboarding time - Nationwide opportunities within the organization’s network Find more opportunities If you’d like to explore additional openings, apply here and you’ll be directed to other current opportunities available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: <https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply> Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
