Sourcing Specialist

FLSA Status: Exempt Department: Supply Chain Reports To: Sourcing Manager Position Summary Supports strategic sourcing through supplier research, competitive bidding, commercial analysis, negotiations, and market intelligence. Focuses on supplier selection and commercial optimization before purchasing execution. Key Responsibilities Conduct supplier market research and identify qualified suppliers. Prepare and manage RFQs and RFPs. Analyze supplier quotations and total cost of ownership. Develop bid evaluations and award recommendations. Support supplier qualification and preferred supplier programs. Assist with negotiation of pricing, rebates, terms and blanket agreements. Monitor commodity markets and supplier risks. Transition awarded suppliers to Purchasing for execution. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Cost Savings Cost Avoidance Spend Under Contract Preferred Supplier Utilization RFQ Cycle Time Supplier Response Rate Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree preferred. 3–5 years relevant experience. ERP/Procurement system experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
