Mid-Level Environmental Consultant

At Hart & Hickman, we're looking for an Environmental Consultant who's ready to step into a larger leadership role. With 5–10 years of experience, you've built a solid technical foundation and proven you can deliver. What You'll Do

• Manage environmental assessment and remediation projects from planning through completion
• Collaborate with clients, regulators, and project teams to drive successful project outcomes
• Develop technical strategies, budgets, schedules, and high-quality deliverables
• Serve as a mentor and resource for junior staff
• Build relationships with clients and contribute to project growth opportunities

• Identify ways to improve processes and support firm-wide initiatives

What We're Looking For

5–10 years of environmental consulting experience

Strong experience with environmental site assessment and remediation, including

Phase I and Phase II ESAs

Vapor intrusion assessment

NC Brownfields and voluntary cleanup programs

Experience working with regulatory agencies in North and South Carolina

Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills

A collaborative mindset and a drive to keep growing professionally
