Role Overview: This role involves providing continuous monitoring, managing life-support equipment, and administering complex medications to stabilize patients. The role requires rapid responses to emergencies and close collaboration with surgeons, cardiologists, and critical care teams. Requirements: Two (2) years of experience in CVICU required. Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions. DUAL CERT (ECHO & VASCULAR) IS REQUIRED. Registered in vascular technology (ARDMS-RVT or CCI-RVS). Registered in echocardiography (ARDMS-AE and/or ARDMS-PE or CCI-RCS) . Certificates Required: ACLS / BLS / NIHSS. Any Charting System experience preferred. Education - Associate degree in Nursing. (Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred) IV Therapy Skills: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line /care management, PICC line management Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, BiPAP/CPAP management, Care of Ventilated Patient Cardiovascular Skills: Central Venous Pressure Monitoring (CVP), Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), Epicardial Pacing Wire Care and Management, Post Cardiac Surgery (directly from the OR), Post Cardiac Surgery (Not directly from the OR), Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Sheath Removal, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Valve Repair/Replacement Genitourinary/Renal Skills: CVVHD/CRRT Skills: Continuous IV sedation, Titrate Cardiac drips, Titrate Vasoactive drips, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias Travel experience required. Schedule: Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Weekend Coverage: Every other Float: Required Apply Today!
