Role Overview: This role requires advanced knowledge of cardiovascular surgery, close collaboration with surgeons and nurses, and a strong focus on patient safety and surgical efficiency by preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, and managing specialized instruments and equipment. Requirements: 1.5 years’ experience required. Flu Vaccine Required - No Exemptions EPIC Charting System Experience preferred Trauma Level II Experience Required Travel Experience Required Certificates Required: BLS, NBSTSA or NCCT Skills: Must have experience working with Adults through Geriatrics. Experience in CVOR and Trauma work settings required. Experience with Cardiac and Vascular surgery cases. Fire Safety, Aseptic Technique, Laser Safety, Sharp Safety, Specimen Handling/labeling, Sterilization/Disinfection, Universal Protocol (Time out) Procedure On Call Required Preferred Skills / Certifications / Experience : Community Hospital Experience Preferred Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred Trauma Level I Experience Preferred Experience working with the following surgery case types: Endo/Laparoscopic, ENT, General, Gyn, Neuro, Ortho, Plastics, and Urology. Experience with organ donation. Charting System: Epic Schedule: Shift: 10-hour days 6:30 AM -4:30 PM Call Requirement: 2 days a week and every third weekend. Float Requirement: Yes, as needed.
