Sr. Equipment Engineer

JOB FUNCTION

Oversees all aspects of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment and Wave soldering machines and processes, including maintenance, repair, optimization, and continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define and document operation and preventive maintenance procedures for SMT and wave machines.
• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of SMT equipment, as well as assisting with asset management.
• Perform preventive maintenance for SMT
• machines.
• Create and maintained machine spare
• parts.
• Provide training to technician and operator on SMT
• machines.
• Design and implement new tools to help improve quality and
• productivity.
• Provide engineering support to production
• lines.
• Coordinate facilities work with the
• division.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree

in Engineering

or the

equivalent job experience.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5 years SMT manufacturing
• experience.

SKILLS

• Has academic functional skills needed to perform assigned
• tasks.
• Computer literate. Strong communication
• skill.
• Lead teams, ensure compliance with standards, and drive efficiency in SMT production.
