NCV and EMG Examinations: - Performs nerve conduction studies under direct supervision and in accordance with the standards and protocols of the department. Implements alternative methods or adjusts controls to obtain optimal recordings. Accurately places electrodes and measures distances, performing higher level studies such as blink reflexes, H-reflexes, and repetitive stim. Operates equipment and notes pertinent medical conditions or significant anatomical variants for benefit of interpretation by the neuromuscular physician.
