Veterinary Technician, Internal Medicine - LVT/RVT/CVT | $30–$40/hr Location: Yonkers, NY Schedule: Full-Time Compensation: $30–$40/hour + Weekend Differentials + Double Pay on holidays Join Animal Specialty Center (ASC) as a full-time Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician in Yonkers, NY. Our Veterinary Technicians work alongside board-certified specialists while providing advanced patient care in a leading specialty and emergency animal hospital. This is an opportunity for an LVT, RVT, or CVT who wants to expand their Internal Medicine skills, practice advanced specialty medicine, and grow in a collaborative environment where Veterinary Technician expertise is valued. Access exclusive financial benefits to help you save on student loans, mortgages, and personal loans NVA Pet Resort Discount + Pet Insurance Discount Medical, Dental, Vision + HSA/FSA Options Insurance Options: Life and AD&D + Short & Long-Term Disability + Critical Illness + Accident + Hospital Indemnity 401(k) with employer match Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities Assist Internal Medicine specialists with advanced diagnostic and treatment procedures Provide exceptional nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient specialty patients Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, sample collection, and laboratory procedures Monitor patients undergoing sedation and anesthesia Obtain and process diagnostic imaging as directed Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation Educate and support clients throughout the diagnostic and treatment process Collaborate with specialists, technicians, and support staff to deliver outstanding patient care Ensure a high standard of patient comfort, safety, and welfare Qualifications Must hold an active CVT, LVT, or RVT credential (or be eligible for licensure) in the state of New York Strong experience in patient care, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, venipuncture, and radiology preferred Internal Medicine or specialty hospital experience is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Positive attitude and strong critical thinking skills Fluent English speaking and reading skills required About Animal Specialty Center Animal Specialty Center is one of the premier specialty and emergency veterinary hospitals in the Northeast, serving pets throughout Westchester County, New York City, Connecticut, and the surrounding region.
