Veterinary Technician, Emergency - CVT/LVT/RVT | $27–$34/hr | $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Location: Lebanon, NH Schedule: Full-Time | Two 15-hour shifts OR three 12-hour shifts available Compensation: $27–$34/hour + Shift Differentials + $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Join Small Animal Veterinary Emergency Services (SAVES) as a full-time Emergency Veterinary Technician in Lebanon, NH. As one of the only 24/7 emergency animal hospitals in northern New Hampshire, our Veterinary Technicians provide advanced emergency and critical care while supporting complex cases that make a meaningful impact. This is an opportunity for a CVT, LVT, or RVT who wants to expand their ER/CC skills, work at the top of their license, and choose a schedule that supports both career growth and work-life balance. Responsibilities As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will: Triage incoming emergency patients and support clients through stressful situations with compassion and professionalism Partner with veterinarians on diagnostics, treatments, and case management Provide advanced nursing care for emergency and critical care patients Collect and process laboratory samples including blood, urine, cytology, and additional diagnostics Utilize advanced imaging to support patient assessment and treatment planning Execute, monitor, and recover anesthesia and sedation events Advocate for hospitalized patients throughout every stage of care Use critical thinking skills to support high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced ER/CC environment Collaborate with doctors and Veterinary Technicians as a trusted partner in patient care Qualifications Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) required Emergency, Critical Care, or high-acuity veterinary experience preferred Strong technical skills and commitment to advancing veterinary nursing care Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency animal hospital environment Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented approach Strong communication skills with clients and hospital team members Desire to continue learning, growing, and expanding your Veterinary Technician skills Interest in advanced training, specialty certification, or leadership growth encouraged Fluent English speaking and reading skills required Why Technicians Choose SAVES: Located in Lebanon, NH, we serve a broad New Hampshire and Vermont community—making a meaningful impact across the region.
