Job Summary

We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented

QHSES Management System Officer

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing our

Quality, Health, Safety, Environment, and Security (QHSES)

  • systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and ISO standards while fostering a strong safety and quality culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Management Systems & Compliance

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QHSES systems in line with ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 27001)
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry requirements
  • Integrate QHSES practices into day-to-day operations

ISO Certification & Audits

  • Support ISO certification and surveillance audits
  • Coordinate internal and external audits
  • Ensure documentation and processes meet certification standards

Incident & Risk Management

  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Maintain incident records and communicate lessons learned

Training & Culture

  • Deliver QHSES training and awareness programs
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental responsibility
  • Support employees with QHSES-related guidance

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor QHSES KPIs and prepare performance reports
  • Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and QHSES frameworks
  • Minimum 3 years
  • of relevant experience in Palm oil refinery, crude oil processing, or chemical manufacturing
  • Experience in audits, compliance, and management systems implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven experience in policy and procedure development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QHSES systems/tools
  • Good data analysis and reporting skills
  • Familiarity with industry processes, equipment, and technologies
  • Knowledge of local and international QHSES regulations
  • High awareness of current QHSES trends and practices
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
