Transport Supervisor

Key responsibilities: Supervision and leading of loading and unloading operations of heavy and out-of-gauge cargoes at the port for LOLO and RORO operations Verifying planned lifting operations in line with the issued lifting and rigging plans / documentation Supervising and leading lashing and securing activities, always following the issued lashing / securing plans, best practices and industry standards (DNV ST-N001 and/or IMO CSS standards) Conducting and leading Tool-Box-Talks / Go-No Go meetings on site Sophisticated documentation and reporting during and after operations Management / Troubleshooting of material movements on site Perform calculations for lashing and securing on the vessel, if required Prepare and review stowage, lashing plans and related calculations Technical coordination and management at the port of all related activities as single point of contact, such as the vessel crew, the captain, stevedores, and other stakeholders (client, etc.) Understanding “STOP work authority” and usage where appropriate for operational or safety reasons Review, evaluate and comment on method statements and executing plans
