Role Polymer Extrusion/Processing Engineer Reporting to Product Technology Manager Work Location DRDC Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Engineering /Materials Science with 10+ year experience in Engineering Thermoplastics extrusion DOE, Six Sigma, Stage Gate experience Masters/PhD a plus Key Responsibilities (indicative not exhaustive) Define and Execute extrusion projects to support Product development of Polycarbonate and other Engineering Thermoplastic products Collaborate with Internal and External Applications Engineering team to meet customer expectations Execute Product, Asset and Capability Roadmap aligned with customer needs and connect product performance with polymer processing conditions and equipment design Competency (Technical) Polymer Extrusion and Processing, Screw design, Softwares for Polymer processing Competency (Behavioural) Analytical Thinking, Cross functional Collaboration, Customer focus
