Role Formulation Chemist/Engineer Reporting to Product Technology Manager Work Location DRDC Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Chemistry/Polymer Science/Materials Science with 10+ year experience in Engineering Thermoplastics Formulation DOE, Six Sigma, Stage Gate experience Masters/PhD a plus Key Responsibilities (indicative not exhaustive) Define and Execute formulation development of Polycarbonate and other Engineering Thermoplastic products Collaborate with Internal and External Applications Engineering team to meet customer expectations Execute Product, Asset and Capability Roadmap aligned with customer needs and connect product performance with polymers and additives Competency (Technical) Polymer Formulation/Blending, Additive Chemistry, Extrusion and Processing Competency (Behavioural) Analytical Thinking, Cross functional Collaboration, Customer focus
