Panel Officer - Boiler

Role: Panel Officer – Boiler Reporting to: Shift Incharge - CPP Purpose: To perform safe and economical DCS operation of boiler, ash handling and coal handling system and ensure continuous availability of boiler. Responsibility: · Manage the operations of boiler from DCS control panels. · Monitor control panel data and alarms, taking corrective actions as needed to maintain safe and efficient operations. · Startup / Shutdown as per operating procedures. · Instruct and interact clearly with field operators for making necessary changes in the field and co-ordinate with shift engineer, and for proper line up and related safety aspects. · Record boiler parameters and other necessary data. · Provide back up to turbine field officer on Turbine DCS when turbine field officer is on field round. Educational Qualification: B.E./ <B.Tech> Mechanical Years of Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in similar capacity Knowledge : · Knowledge of boiler DCS operation. · Knowledge of CFBC Boiler. · Knowledge of boiler parameters, interlocks, water chemistry, etc. · Knowledge of equipment startup/ shutdown, maintenance and troubleshooting. · Knowledge of turbine interlocks.
