The Transportation Officer, Community Corrections provides transportation services to resident population in accordance with policy, procedure and applicable regulations. This role is responsible for the supervision of the resident population including but not limited to safety and security during transport. They will also provide for the care, custody and control of residents and establishes a safe environment. Provide transportation services to resident population in accordance with policy and procedure. Monitor resident population and reports any suspicious activities or violations of policy, procedures, or regulations by residents or other individuals. Coordinate the checkout of residents during approved times and documents resident departures and arrivals at the facility in accordance with prescribed policy requirements. Conduct regular vehicle and equipment inspections. Report and submit maintenance work orders for vehicle maintenance or repairs in a timely manner. Conduct resident counts, searches, and vehicle searches as required. Distributes food plates during late meal service
