COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Base salary of $75K–$90K, commensurate with experience Comprehensive health and dental insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays In-office environment at our Chicago headquarters — a collaborative, ownership-driven culture THE ROLE We're looking for a hands-on, organized Business Systems Analyst to configure, build, and improve the systems that run our real estate portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Technology, you'll implement changes and enhancements, set up new configurations, and turn requests and issues into completed, well-documented work. This is an execution-focused role for someone who takes ownership of their deliverables and sees them through. WHAT YOU'LL OWN Configure and maintain our property management platform (Yardi) and related modules Implement system changes, enhancements, and new configurations Turn requests and issues into tracked, deliverable work items — and own their status and follow-through Build reports, dashboards, and user documentation Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues Maintain data integrity; use moderate SQL to investigate and validate data Support testing for upgrades and enhancements (UAT) Use AI tools to support integration, testing, and automation Assist with lease setups, migrations, and post-conversion reviews WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR This role is based in Chicago. Position is Full Time in office 5 days a week 3+ years configuring, supporting, or troubleshooting business systems Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or similar property management system experience required Background in real estate, finance, or accounting Experience with system support and data management Moderate SQL and strong troubleshooting skills Strong organization, communication, and follow-through Experience supporting residential property operations preferred Familiarity with property management system database structures preferred Experience using AI tools for testing, automation, or workflow improvement preferred Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Finance, or related field preferred GROWTH OPPORTUNITY This role offers room to grow within our technology function as our portfolio and systems scale, with the opportunity to take on broader ownership over time.
