About The Role

Leader Breeders is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Basketball Instructor to join their team. The instructor is responsible for teaching fundamental and advanced basketball skills while using the sport as a tool to promote discipline, teamwork, and leadership development. This role focuses on skill instruction, mentorship, and creating a structured, positive environment for youth to grow both on and off the court.

Key Responsibilities

  • -Plan and lead basketball training sessions for youth of varying skill levels
  • -Teach fundamental skills including dribbling, shooting, passing, defense, and game strategy
  • -Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and accountability through instruction and example
  • -Provide individualized feedback and support to help participants improve
  • -Supervise participants to ensure safety and appropriate behavior during all activities
  • -Organize drills, scrimmages, and skill-building exercises
  • -Assist with coordinating leagues, clinics, and tournaments
  • -Track attendance and report participant progress or concerns to program leadership
  • -Serve as a positive mentor and role model for youth
