About The Role

Linguist / Targeter - Mandarin language

TS Clearance with SCI Eligibility required (we will sponsor the SCI portion needed for this clearance!)

Role starts in Reston and requires 5 days per week of in-office work with flexibility around onsite hours, then will be moving to Fort Belvoir late summer and offer 1 day of remote work and onsite support 4 days per week in Fort Belvoir

Key Responsibilities

  • Fluency in Mandarin (*must be able to translate Mandarin to English in both written and spoken dialect)
  • Must be familiar with Mandarin/Chinese culture
  • Provide timely, concise, and accurate feedback and analysis to the sponsor and be prepared to present data and findings on as needed basis
  • Collect data from the public internet; and present that data to the government
  • Technical prowess (understanding of how software, databases, web servers and the internet actually work)
  • Draft and coordinate data and findings which require minimal editing in sponsor system
  • Assist in the preparation of responses to senior level tasking/requirements
  • Read and write Mandarin at a high level and need to be able to translate from Mandarin to English
  • Experience supporting cyber activities Targeting Experience Ability to utilize an array of targeting tools
  • Experience assimilating and evaluating large amount of data Strong analytic writing and briefings skills
  • Technical prowess (understanding of how software, databases, web servers and the internet actually work)
