Airworthiness Engineer Based in Budapest Purpose of the role The Airworthiness Engineer supports the Technical Services department by managing Airworthiness Review Certificates, and technical data reporting. The role contributes to the continued airworthiness of the fleet and compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Develop and manage airworthiness review processes and procedures Perform full airworthiness reviews, including physical and record reviews Create and manage continued airworthiness data (e.g., AD/SB/EO/HT/AMP status reports) Collect and provide required data and documentation for continuing airworthiness review certificate renewals and extensions Manage the airworthiness review certificate renewal and extension process, including closing physical and documentation audit findings Handle additional tasks as assigned by the Technical Manager Experience 3-5+ years overall working experience, with 2+ years of relevant work experience with Continued Airworthiness Management (CAMO) Experience with airworthiness reviews (preferred) Hard skills Excellent computer skills (MS Office) Aircraft Maintenance License for large jet transport category aircraft (preferred) Type rating for A320 family (B1, B2, or C category) (preferred) Knowledge of AMOS (preferred) Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Language Fluent English (both written and spoken) Skills and competencies Detail-oriented with an assertive and accurate approach Flexibility and ability to react quickly to operational needs Commitment to delivering high-quality work When applying, please only provide valid information regarding your educational background and certificates, as the original documents will be requested during the hiring process.
