About The Role

No two days are exactly alike, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad range of maintenance skills. Facility & Preventive Maintenance Respond to and complete work orders through our CMMS system Perform preventive maintenance throughout residential, healthcare, kitchen, HVAC, and community spaces Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, appliance, and window-related issues Maintain required Department of Health and Life Safety documentation Equipment & Building Systems Learn and assist with fire alarm and call bell systems Become familiar with critical HVAC, sprinkler, steam, and water shut-off locations Gain hands-on exposure to generators, pumps, boilers, cooling towers, and commercial kitchen equipment Conduct routine testing of life safety and emergency equipment Community Support & Service Assist with event setups and tear-downs Support Resident moves and furniture relocation Participate in snow removal efforts when needed Help maintain company vehicles Keep maintenance areas organized, safe, and professional Proactively replace lighting and address facility needs Respond to emergency situations, including fire alarms and ambulance calls Complete every task with a strong focus on quality, cleanliness, and customer service What We're Looking For Qualifications 1-2 years of building maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience Basic knowledge of building systems and general maintenance practices Comfortable using email and Windows-based applications Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities A positive, customer-focused approach when interacting with Residents and Team Members Willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a collaborative team Join a Team That Cares At Willow Valley Communities, every repair completed, every preventive maintenance task performed, and every Resident interaction helps enhance the quality of life for the people who call our community home.
