Job Overview The Advanced Quality Engineer (AQE) drives quality excellence in New Product Introduction (NPI) and development projects. This role ensures products meet customer requirements by applying advanced quality methodologies, managing risk (DFMEA/PFMEA), and leading cross-functional collaboration from concept to production release, ensuring zero-defect mindset and strong customer satisfaction. Job Requirements Lead AQE activities in NPI projects using APQP / LeanPD methodology Drive DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and DVP&R completion Act as key quality interface for customers and internal teams Ensure readiness for product & process release (PPAP, FAI, SOP) Define and implement quality control & safe launch plans Lead root cause analysis using 8D / Six Sigma / problem-solving tools Conduct audits and support continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations teams What your background should look like Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Physics or similar) 5+ years in Engineering, Quality, or Manufacturing roles Strong knowledge: APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, Six Sigma Experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3 standards Solid problem-solving and project management skills Experience working in cross-functional & matrix environments Strong communication skills in English Lean manufacturing experience and Six Sigma certification (preferred) Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
