STAFF MANUFACTURING ENGINEER

Job Overview Leads technical domain for manufacturing of one or more products. Job Requirements Purpose: Analyze and solve production engineering and new project management issues with the objective of ensuring new project launch on time and the production by order and improving the efficiency within the supervision of Sr. Manager PBL organization. As a leader of new project management, to ensure project launch on time with high efficiency and no quality risk; as a PBL manufacturing engineer to work with cross functions and supplier, to response for the new products and migration project quotation and equipment design and sample qualification, and to support Sourcing to drive productivity and on time delivery etc.. train and support PBL supplier to improve their capability. Key Responsibilities: New Project (i) support Procurement for new product quotation (ii) as manufacturing engineer, to work with supplier for DFM and PFMEA etc. preparation and design review etc. (iii) as manufacturing engineer, to work with supplier for process and tool design and qualification (iv) follow up sample making issues and sample schedule which requested by customer or PDE. and work with cross function team members and supplier for improvement until approval (v) work with PBL suppliers for packaging design and qualification test (vi) follow NPD PRW to work with supplier to get all engineering documents done (vii) work with SQE and supplier for safe launch process audit (viii) as project leader (for Micro Lite project), to manage new project for on schedule approval Productivity/VAVE (i) work with suppliers and team members to find the improvement opportunities, such as process, material, plating, packaging etc. (ii) support VAVE project qualification, work with supplier and team members to drive the project to be qualified (iii) support Procurement for cost reduction nego if needed Supplier Engineering Capability (i)support Sourcing for new supplier qualification (ii) support Sourcing for supplier exit (iii) support SQE for supplier audit ((iV) supplier assessment, to improve supplier capability Requirements: Bachelor degree or above and mechanical or electronical related engineering background Total Working experience over 10 years 8 years above experience in manufacturing, have great high speed connector manufacturing experience Good command of English on both speaking and writing Communication skills / logical thinking Execution ability / accountability Integrity, pressure management skills, team work, customer focus, drive for result What your background should look like Generally requires Bachelors degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 8 years of experience; Masters degree or higher or local equivalent may be preferred at this level Competencies Values: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, Teamwork
