Mechanical Engineer - Ship Repairs (Pioneer Sector)

Responsibilities: Attend meetings with customers to address ship defects and other technical issues. Prepare service acceptance documents and technical reports upon completion of defect rectification works. Plan, schedule, and assign daily work tasks to the production team. Provide technical suggestions and solutions to assist customers in resolving problems. Monitor job progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to schedules. Ensure all work complies with applicable appliance standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act. Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements. Actively participate in and support ongoing and new projects as assigned. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Marine Engineering. Minimum 1 year of working experience in the marine and/or heavy industry sector will be advantageous Basic understanding of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating principles is advantageous Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative. Basic knowledge of mechanical system components and their functions. Ability to read and understand simple technical drawings and service reports. Basic communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Other Information: Work Location: Pioneer Sector (Daily transportation reimbursement provided for travel to and from work) Work Schedule: 5‑day work week Working Hours: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
