CNV Maintenance Supervisor

Position Overview Sofidel America of Hattiesburg, MS, is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long term role in a stable environment with opportunity for growth. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team! Job Responsibilities Maintenance Supervisor is required to be “on-call” and to respond to emergency maintenance requests. Responsible for breakdown repair and preventative maintenance activities throughout the plant and provide work training to less experienced maintenance staff. Perform preventative maintenance, identify and correct problems of equipment using appropriate tools. Adhere to governmental regulatory programs and policies. Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades to mechanical systems. Maintain good employee relations while establishing accountability for individual behaviors. Engage in project planning. Operate welding and cutting equipment. Oversee safety program and preventative maintenance. Perform maintenance management by supervising maintenance personnel and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules. Job Requirements Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred 5 + years of industrial maintenance and electrical experience 2+ years of experience managing a maintenance team within a manufacturing environment Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and troubleshooting experience Ability to bring a maintenance team together, develop junior level maintenance staff and work in a team environment within a diverse workforce Strong sense of job ownership/accountability with effective verbal and written communication skills Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends when required Company Benefits Competitive Compensation Professional and safe work environment Employee referral bonus Retention Bonus 401(k) Match Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Professional training and development Paid vacation Work Environment .
