Upgrading Wide Area Network (WAN) equipment and fiber infrastructure at remote locations CONUS an OCONUS- Designing and implementing cable infrastructure for data centers and outside plant fiber- Working with network engineers to establish layer 1-3 connectivity - Performing installation of routers, switches, encryptors and patch panels in racks- Performing inside plant fiber installation: data center fiber installation, telecom room to telecom room fiber installation- Performing outside plant fiber installation: building to building fiber installation through manholes and handholes- Working with node site coordinator to extend WAN circuits to routers- Coordinating with remote site POC’s to plan, design, and schedule equipment and infrastructure installation-...
