Why this role matters As our Quantity Surveyor you will ensure accurate measurement, valuation, and commercial administration of project contracts while supporting effective cost control, contractual compliance, and timely project delivery. The role contributes to protecting project value and managing commercial risks throughout the project lifecycle. What you'll be doing In this role, you will: • Manage quantity surveying and commercial control activities in line with project contracts and procedures.• Review, validate, and monitor project costs, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and Estimated Final Cost (EFC).• Evaluate, negotiate, and administer variations, claims, and compensation events.• Review and certify contractor payment applications and verify quantities against approved drawings and site progress.• Ensure compliance of all payment submissions with contractual requirements and supporting documentation.• Monitor commercial risks and opportunities and implement proactive cost control measures.• Support contract administration activities, including commercial reporting and contractual correspondence.• Participate in project, commercial, and risk review meetings, providing commercial advice and recommendations. What you'll bring: • BSc in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.• Experience in quantity surveying, contract administration, and commercial management of construction projects.• Strong knowledge of NEC, GCC, and FIDIC contract frameworks.• Understanding of EPC contract structures, scope management, and project delivery processes.• Experience reviewing contractor payments, variations, and claims.• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
