Who We Are

The MAS Digital Strats team at Goldman Sachs takes a hands-on approach to ideate, design, and implement full-stack solutions for portfolio managers, sales teams, and clients (including both institutional and retail investors). Our primary objectives are to drive revenue growth through the development of sophisticated tools for portfolio construction and client engagement, while also delivering scalable and efficient systems for portfolio management. We design, build, and maintain every layer of our technology stack—including databases, data caching, calculation engines, workflow orchestration, and front-end tooling—while leveraging quantitative methods for portfolio construction and analytics. Increasingly, we are integrating AI and agent-based tools to provide intuitive, flexible solutions and drive efficiency for stakeholders. This role is ideal for individuals with a keen interest in understanding business problems within the financial domain and expanding their technical skillsets in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.

What You Do

As an Analyst in our Bangalore office, you will

Infrastructure Development: Develop and maintain proprietary infrastructure, libraries, and APIs that provide portfolio construction and analytics.

Full-Stack Solutions: Collaborate with global colleagues to design and implement full-stack solutions, including dashboard and reporting tools for portfolio managers and sales teams.

Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to impactful technical solutions that drive revenue growth.

Innovation: Develop AI and agent-based technologies to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.

System Resilience: Ensure production systems are sustainable, adaptable, and resilient in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment.

Technical Architecture: Engage in technical projects that bridge the gap between complex business requirements and scalable software architecture.

What We Look For

  • Experience: 0–3 years of experience in technical fields, with a demonstrated interest in financial technology.
  • Education: A technical degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Programming: Proficiency in Python is required, along with experience in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
  • Technical Stack: Familiarity with databases (SQL, MongoDB), data caching, and workflow orchestration concepts.
  • DevOps: Knowledge of modern DevOps practices and tools, such as Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and stakeholders.
  • Mindset: A self-motivated, curious problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a passion for innovation in the finance domain.
