About The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO the individual shape the strategy and execution to drive asset and revenue growth for a fast-growing, bank-backed asset-management firm by originating and closing business with GCC institutional, wholesale, family-office and sovereign-wealth investors; design and execute regional and client-segment sales strategies and implementation plans; own the full marketing agenda; lead and scale the sales & marketing team; and act as an individual rain-maker and brand ambassador

  • Sales Objectives & Strategy: Build annual and multi-year AUM targets, in line with the firms strategy and growth ambitions. Create territory plans and client-type penetration strategies; translate them into executable road-maps and KPIs
  • Asset Raising : Win allocations to public funds, SMA customized solutions and private-market funds.
  • CRM Discipline : Maintain accurate, real-time CRM data (pipeline, meeting notes, follow-ups); enforce team-wide adoption and reporting cadence.
  • Product Feedback: Capture detailed client requirements, market gaps and competitive intelligence; feed structured insights to product and portfolio-management teams to spark new offerings.
  • Marketing : Design and own the regional marketing plan—including conferences, proprietary events, digital & social media, targeted advertising and earned media—to amplify brand presence and share of voice.
  • Marketing Execution : Oversee production and compliance sign-off of sales decks, fact-sheets, thought-leadership pieces, regular client communications and campaign collateral; serve as spokesperson and panel speaker at industry events and seminars.
  • Team Leadership : Coach, mentor and expand a high-performing sales & marketing team (two junior reports initially) in line with geographic and AUM growth.
  • Compliance & KYC: Ensure sales and onboarding processes meet DFSA/DIFC and wider GCC AML/KYC regulations; liaise with compliance to keep client records current and adhere to all regulatory obligations and standards.
  • Minimum 12 years’ asset-management sales experience covering GCC institutional, wholesale, family-office and SWF segments; deep personal network of decision-makers.
  • Proven success in fund distribution and customized-mandate sales; strong grasp of portfolio construction and multi-asset investing (public and private markets).
  • Demonstrated ability to build sales objectives, strategies and execution plans, and to enforce rigorous CRM practices.
  • Hands-on experience designing and deploying multi-channel marketing strategies—including events, conferences, digital & social media, targeted advertising and thought-leadership—within regulated frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of DFSA/DIFC and wider GCC AML/KYC requirements; history of partnering with compliance on onboarding and ongoing client maintenance.
  • Track record as both a top individual producer and an effective team leader; entrepreneurial, highly energetic “doer” comfortable in a fast-paced environment and willing to travel extensively.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; articulate, engaging public speaker; tech-savvy and eager to leverage modern sales-enablement and marketing-automation tools.
