About The Role
JOB PURPOSE To develop and implement the Quality Assurance & control strategy in conjunction with Senior management team to satisfy the quality requirements defined by customers, applicable standards and internal requirements for the products, processes and services and maintain the GMR’s repute of high-quality deliverables in every field. ORGANISATION CHART Position Title Reports To AGM – Quality Assurance & Control Head Technology KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsibilities Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Capability to promote Quality and Compliance, able to motivate sites and units to continuous levels of quality excellence and regulatory awareness. Work on continuous improvement plan to eliminate any non-compliance through use of QC tools, adequate root cause analysis followed by Corrective & Preventive actions taken in timely and effective manner to ensure that non compliances do not recur. Versatility in understanding and interpreting issues, trends and implications in the Quality, GMP and regulatory areas. Issuance of hardware and software quality assurance plan and ensuring its implementation by partners/ operations team. Issuing of categorized Interim Inspection Reports for meters/hardware (CIPS), assisting team to perform Field Installation and Integration Test (FIIT) & Site Acceptance Test (SAT) Quality processes to be adhered by Partners / operations team. Defect rates should be within budgeted rates. SLAs in check KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS Utility, meter installers, meter suppliers & Software partners INTERNAL INTERACTIONS Project Operations Team and Technology/IT Team at Site and head office. FINANCIAL DIMENSIONS To keep a check on defects rates and ensure to bring down below our budgeted defect rate and ensure various tests under RFP are conducted in timely manner to ensure budgeted revenue inflows over project implementation duration. OTHER DIMENSIONS Frequent travel shall be a part of job EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS B. Tech / Post Graduate RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 13 to 18 years of overall experience in power distribution domain Experience in validating Electrical Meter Quality along with Software validation (HES/MDM) and quality audits.
