Industry Manager - Chemical

We are looking for an Industry Manager to drive the growth of our Chemical business in Indonesia. In this role, you will lead market development initiatives within the chemical industry while collaborating with an international network of industry managers across the Endress+Hauser Group. This is a technical and strategic marketing position, which will offer you the opportunity to serve as a trusted industry expert, combining market insight with engineering know-how to support customers and strengthen our presence in the chemical sector. As an Industry Manager, you will play a key role in expanding our presence with chemical customers across Indonesia. Working closely with customers, sales colleagues, and international stakeholders, you will identify growth opportunities, develop market strategies, and help position Endress+Hauser as a trusted partner for the chemical industry. Which tasks will you perform? Develop a deep understanding of the chemical industry landscape in Indonesia, identify key market trends, and build strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders Translate market and customer insights into industry-specific strategies, value propositions, and solutions that address current and future customer needs Collaborate with our global production centers and international industry experts to strengthen and localize Endress+Hauser's portfolio for the chemical market Define and implement pricing strategies for Indonesia, aligning local market opportunities with the regional Southeast Asia approach Support project acquisition and business development activities by working closely with sales teams, representative partners, and cross-functional stakeholders across the Endress+Hauser network Share industry expertise with customers and colleagues through workshops, training sessions, and technical consultations, helping to expand knowledge and create customer value Monitor developments in the chemical market, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment, providing actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making and long-term growth What do we expect from you? Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field Several years of relevant experience in instrumentation or process automation within the chemical industry. Additional experience in marketing, business development, or consulting is an advantage Strong understanding of the chemical industry landscape in Indonesia, including market dynamics, customer challenges, and regulatory considerations Ability to combine technical expertise with commercial thinking to identify opportunities and create value for customers Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, combined with a structured and strategic approach to problem-solving Very good command of English Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required What can you expect from us?
