Field Technician - Austin TX Area

Job Description

NuView IT is a security-first MS(S)P platform serving regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and education. We integrate founder-led IT service providers into a unified organization that delivers enterprise-grade IT, cybersecurity, and compliance outcomes.

The Field/Support Engineer delivers onsite support and project execution at client locations. This role handles deployments, troubleshooting, and onsite cutovers while maintaining strong documentation and coordination with remote teams

Role

• Provide onsite troubleshooting and support; resolve issues or escalate appropriately
• Execute deployments (endpoints, peripherals, network gear, conference rooms)
• Support onsite project tasks (migrations, cutovers, installs) with project coordination
• Maintain accurate documentation, asset updates, and handoff notes after visits
• Communicate professionally with client stakeholders and manage expectations
• Follow safety/access procedures and maintain readiness for field work (tools/vehicle)

Education/ Job Knowledge / Skills

• 2–5 years field support experience (MSP preferred)
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to work independently
• Solid troubleshooting skills and comfort with onsite deployments
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally/regionally
