This role offers the opportunity to take projects from inception through to completion, acting as the key client contact and leading project delivery across a range of residential, mixed-use, regeneration and land-led developments.Working within a small team and reporting directly to the Team Leader / Delivery Director, you will manage projects on behalf of housing associations, local authorities and developers across South and South East London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire.This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who enjoys taking ownership of projects, building strong client relationships and contributing to successful project outcomes from pre-contract stages through to completion.Key ResponsibilitiesManage projects from inception through to completion as Project Manager and Employer's AgentAct as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholdersCoordinate consultants and project teams to ensure successful project deliveryManage pre-contract investigations, surveys and due diligence activitiesChair and minute project and pre-contract meetingsPrepare Employer's Requirements, performance specifications, build agreements and JCT contractsManage tender processes including single and two-stage procurement exercisesProduce tender reports, value for money reports and project documentationMaintain project programmes, risk registers and action trackersUndertake site inspections and monitor construction progressChair and minute site meetingsAssess contractor payment applications and issue payment noticesMonitor defects, manage handovers and oversee practical completion processesPrepare final accounts and project close-out documentationSkills, Knowledge, and ExpertiseMinimum three years' post-graduate experience in a construction-related disciplineExperience delivering residential, mixed-use, regeneration, land-led or remediation projectsStrong understanding of Project Management and Employer's Agent responsibilitiesKnowledge of JCT contracts and pre-construction service agreementsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities effectivelyUnderstanding of construction delivery and site-based processesStrong organisational and reporting skillsAbility to manage project programmes, risk registers and project controlsWhat We're Looking ForWe are looking for a professional and client-focused individual who can build trusted relationships and confidently manage projects through all stages of delivery.The successful candidate will be organised, commercially aware and able to manage competing priorities while maintaining high standards of service.
